1.You probably already turn off the water while you brush you teeth…try turning it of while you soap your body in the shower! If you get cold when you turn the water off, then it might be to hot in the first place. Warning… some people end up taking longer if they do this because it takes them more time to adjust the tempature than it does to soap. This strategy tends to work better for girls with long hair.

2. Stop putting it off and get that compost bin already! I like vermi (worm) composting because it doesn’t smell.  Build your own composter http://whatcom.wsu.edu/ag/compost/easywormbin.htm

3. Hunt for vampires! Not the kind that suck blood, but the kind that suck energy. Unplug that laptop when it doesn’t need charge (HINT: It is probably still sucking up energy as many things do). If you do not use an apliance every five hours, then there is no need for it to be sucking energy! (HINT: don’t unplug big things like TVs because they might suck up extra energy when they are compleatly restarted… and you might not be able to plug them in again)
